This section contains maps of most cities / towns in the Netherlands from the 1860's. Each map is a pdf file, about 50-300k in size, and requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader. These maps are divided into groups, according to the province they fall under.

The quality of these maps is not as good as we would have liked them to be. However, based on the source, this was as good as we could make them. If you have trouble reading these maps, it might be helpful to use the zoom feature in Acrobat Reader, or print them out. They may be used for personal use.

Note: When searching for a city that has multiple words, such as Hooge-en Lage- Zwaluwe, or Loon op Zand, try searching under the beginning letter of each word. In these cases, the first city is under Z, the latter under L.
